two fantastic workshops IN ONE DAY!

COME AND JOIN US FOR LOTS OF GARDENING FUN, WHERE YOU’LL LEARN LOTS AND GAIN THE CONFIDENCE & SKILLS TO CREATE A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN

COST: $40 for each INDIVIDUAL workshop or $85 for THE WHOLE DAY with a delicious lunch included. 


COURSE OUTLINE


2017 SPRING Dates:

SEPTEMBER -saturday 30th

9.30 AM – 12 PM

PRODUCTIVE GARDENS FROM SCRATCH  – in this workshop we’ll get you started with your own vegie & fruit garden. We’ll cover soil & compost, design &planning, what to plant when & where, pest & diseases and how to keep your garden sustainable & productive all year round.

1 PM – 3.30 PM

GARDENS FOR SMALL SPACES – productive & ornamental solutions to gardening in a small space. We’ll cover clever design, growing successfully in pots and making the best use of the space you have so it looks great all year round!

OCTOBER -saturday 21ST

9.30 AM – 12 PM

NEW PLANTS FROM OLD – in this workshop we’ll show you how to create new plants! You’ll learn the skills of seed collecting & sowing and how to propagate with cuttings and divisions. There’ll be lots of hands on experience and plenty of new plants to take home.

1 PM – 3.30 PM

COMPOSTING MASTERCLASS – uncover the magic of compost! We’ll cover the why, how and when of making great compost, troubleshoot the main challenges and look at the best methods.

NOVEMBER -saturday 18TH

9.30 AM – 12 PM

MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR GARDEN IN SPRING & SUMMER – in this workshop we’ll be looking at renewing your garden after early spring & preparing it for summer, what to plant for a beautiful & productive summer garden, and summer-proofing your garden.

1 PM – 3.30 PM

TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR GARDEN – bring all your troubles, challenges and problems to this workshop, and we’ll work together to find great organic solutions! We’ll also be looking at the Permaculture Principles and how you can apply these holistically to solving problems in the garden.
